OIA is a well-known entity and a pioneer in organic certification of vegetable,
animal, and processed products in Argentina, endorsed by and acclaimed for its
professional experience and highly qualified human resources.
It
is made up by an outstanding group of specialized professionals, who, as an interdisciplinary
group, work with the productive, educational, scientific, and technological sectors,
with in-depth knowledge of the ecosystems and their needs, trained at the most
demanding international level.
In
line with its objectives, OIA guarantees at all times its independence
from all commercial interests, ensuring fully transparent actions with clear and
precise methods.
OIA
is at the service of those producers, processors, and marketers providing excellence
through its certification based on national and international official standards
which meet consumer needs and demands.
OIA
is licensed to certify the main farming products (dairy, meat, honey, grains,
oilseeds, vegetables, aromatics, fruits, etc.), supporting its service quality
with over 2,000,000 hectares certified to date.
Currently,
OIA certified products enter Europe, the United States, and Japan on an
swift and constant basis. Today,
more than ever, the world must be aware of the need to respect nature. Organización
Internacional Agropecuaria is already working with people who understand this
for the purpose of promoting farming systems which benefit human beings and the
environment. OIA

has developed the Organic Farming National Plan (joint project between the private
sector and the Secretariat of Farming, Fishing, and Foodstuff), provided for the
regulation of the Argentine Organic Farming Law No. 25.127, executed by members
of the Certification Committee. |

of the Latin American Certifying Group, created in 1995, comprised by certifiers

members of OIA´s Independent Certification Committee represent different
sectors related to organic production and includes, scientists, technicians, professors,traders,
consumers and producers. The Technical Direction of certification is in charge
of agricultural production and food technology professionals.
